The Atsina were a nomadic tribe, following the buffalo as it was their primary source of food, clothing, and housing. Here the tribe may be travelling and at a stop somewhere along the way.

This photogravure was taken in 1909 by Edward S. Curtis. The piece was printed on Japanese Tissue and is available for sale in out Aspen Art Gallery.
