Volume,12.5 x 9.5 inches
Tipis made a great temporary shelter. Much like our versions of tents today tipis were easily constructed from wooden poles and buffalo skin. This image show a temporary camp of an author, tucked in amongst the trees. Photographed by Edward S. Curtis in 1910 this image is now available at our Aspen Art Gallery.
