The Piegan, like many plains’ tribes, wore deerskin garments decorated with porcupine quills and beads made from silverberry seeds.

However, in this Edward Curtis photogravure of Crow Eagle you’ll notice the shirt cuffs and pants reveal that his clothing is clearly that of the “White Man”. Hair parted down the middle and hanging loosely is traditional for the tribe., as is the pipe he is smoking.
