Volume, 12.5 x 9.5 inches
This Edward S. Curtis photo depicts a morning scene in a Hopi village. There are young girls in traditional dress and hair and it is a great example of the complex apartment-like buildings they created for themselves. This photogravure was taken by Edward Curtis in 1906 and is printed on Japon Vellum. The piece is now available for sale in our Aspen Art Gallery.
