The young woman “Tsetsanu” from the Tewa is pictured here by Edward S. Curtis. Tewa was a subset of the Hopi and had similar characteristics and dress. Her hair is done in whorls, indicating that she in unmarried. The subject is dressed stylishly with jewelry and an off the shoulder dress.
