The pottery of the Papago resembles very closely that of their related tribe Pima. They would make almost all of their won earthenware utensils. This beautiful image is a great example of the simple but useful pottery the Papago produced. Pictured by Edward S. Curtis a woman works on fishing her vessel.

This photogravure was taken in 1907 by Edward S. Curtis. The piece was printed on Dutch Van Gelder and is available for sale in out Aspen Art Gallery.
