IN this Edward Curtis photo a young Kalispel girl looks into the camera. She is wearing a beautiful dress adorned with elk teeth. Her hair is braided down both sides of her face and she has earrings on as well. This photogravure was taken by Edward S. Curtis in 1910 and was printed on Dutch Van Gelder Paper. Curtis used this image for his 3rd volume of the North American Indian and it is now available for sale in our Aspen Art Gallery.
