Curtis documented the Atsina’s in his portfolio and volume five for the North American Indian project. This image called, “The Land of the Atsina” show a procession of riders crossing Atsina Land. The Atsina would have been located in Montana and migrated between the Missouri and Askaw rivers. <br> <br>This image was taken in 1908 and printed on Japon Vellum. It is available for sale in our Aspen Art Gallery.
