Artist Statement:
Clouds fascinate me, and rightfully so, for clouds and photography are related in my mind. Clouds appear solid, but I can move into and through them to whatever is hidden within them or that is obscured on the other side of them. With photography I can reach through the physical world of the “thing seen”, like clouds, to reveal through my photography the essence of the “thing seen: or what is “behind it”. Photography is a kind of marriage between reality and imagination to reveal the truth of the “thing seen.”
