Photo ArtFamous Artists Blog

Welcome to Valley Fine Art at the historic Wheeler Opera House in downtown Aspen—and welcome as well to our brand-new web site, our first update in several years.

We have many reasons to be excited, the main one being that the site allows everyone a much better look at all the artists, living and historical, that we so proudly represent.

Our clients know about our continuing focus on one of America's most important photographers and ethnologists Edward S. Curtis but not everyone, for example, knows we represent the painter Theodore Waddell as well. Our collections in sculpture and old pawn jewelry are also far more visible in the new web site design. Even our representation of Andy Warhol's work is visible immediately as a choice at the top of the home page. And our new "Featured Artist" and "Featured Exhibit give us a chance to showcase different work on the home page depending on our inventory and your interests.

Historical artist can easily accessed on our front page. You can see we are currently offering an important ink and ink wash by Frederick Remington that is included in this famous artists catalog raisonné, and a beautiful oil by one of the founding members of the Taos Society of artists, Oscar Berninghaus.

We are also happy to confirm that all of our Valley Fine Art important nationally known artists adhere to our core principle of documenting change in America across three centuries.

So comment on our site or follow us on Facebook or sign up for our email blasts. We love to hear from the people who love our artists as much as we do.

Please contact Mia Valley directly any time by clicking here—or just drop by our gallery at the Wheeler, 213 South Mill Street, when you're in town.
