Edward S. Curtis - *50% OFF OPPORTUNITY* A Cave at Middle Mesa - Vintage Photogravure - Volume, 9.5 x 12.5 inches - In this photograph by Edward S. Curtis remnants of basketry and shards of pottery as strewn about a cave. He claims to have discovered this cave in 1900 near Middle Mesa. The baskets and jars were ceremonial objects and many were intact and even sealed. Edward Curtis said that the circumstances he was under made it impossible to examine the contents. This piece is on display at our Aspen Art Gallery.
