Artist Statement:
During my own work, when I am often in a whirlwind of activity, there is a center of quiet, a meditative area. I attempt not so much to “pre-visualize” or “conceive” an image as to “reveal” it. Then, and nearly simultaneously, that effort is filtered through my imagination and the layers of previous similar experiences to reveal the spirit of the truth of the “thing observed.”
